So their whole conference was about this phone and nothing else?
Damn. I was hoping other new stuff would be announced ::
Yeah, I'm disappointed there was no Leopard or Illuminous, and according to Phoenix's not so coy comments, Leopard is far from done, which means I guess the early 2007 release date was untrue.
I'm happy with the Apple TV and the iPhone. I'll definitely be snagging them, although I'll wait to hear reviews on both first. I'm sure the Apple TV will be fine, but the devil's in the details. Same thing with iPhone. I want to know what sort of processor is in there, and I want real world battery times. Apple is usually fairly decent in giving accurate battery times, but they gave no numbers when it came to PDA functionality/internet usage, only for talk time and music playing. Plus, moreso than ever before, that screen had better be scratch resistanct. If these caveats are addressed, they've got some killer products.
Man, I had low expectations for today, and my most anticipated thing wasn't even in the keynote, but Steve's Reality Distortion Field was in full effect. I was worried after a kinda weak WWDC, but Steve brought his A game today.
