I stopped watching after the Michael vs Lucifer finale. Were the ones that followed good? Ever since I heard it was never meant to be dragged this long I stopped watching. Couldn't bear to witness another favorite show go down hill.

Seasons 6-7 were varying degrees of mediocre, but Season 8 is a return to form.  I'm gay for Supernatural so I'll keep watching no matter what.

Yeah season 8 has been pretty awesome.  I burned through the first 4 seasons on Netflix and almost stopped watching until Jaybo told me it would get better.  I found redemption in the cartoon episode from a couple of weeks ago!
