This looks awesome, hopefully it'll be as fun as (if not better than) Rokko Chan.

Played two stages. Level design is horrendously sloppy but mostly average. This is after play MM9 all weekend.

The best thing I can say, beyond the great boss battles (and they are some of the best classic MM has ever offered) is hey, at least I didn't pay for it. Slap that on the back of the box Capcom, because this is an insult of a 25th anniversary.

as long as the boss battles are good.  that's the main attraction here.

highlight from c. viper stage: in room with three sniper joes that shoot lasers that you can NOT avoid because there's not even enough room on the roof to jump over them. So you end up having to use some shitty elevator to gain height.  Terrible enemy encounter design and level design. Any Mega Man fan knows you should be able to kill most (all?) enemies any normal way without the use of weapons. Weapons help, but they sure as fuck aren't required as the game is built around beating stages in multiple ways. This shit isn't open, it's grid locked.

The designers use these Sniper Joes THE ENTIRE LEVEL. It has barely any variety in terms of enemy placement or design. The best part is running away from the lasers in the mid-section of the game. The entire level should have been built around that concept. Instead, so far, each stage I've played so far is nothing but a shoot em up gauntlet.

Ugly graphics (even for a classic MM fan game), bad frame rate, shit level design. Happy fucking birthday, Mega Man.

Yes I saw. I'm definitely doing just that. But I have a history of saying flat out that I'm more of an MMX and Zero fan. MMX4 is my favorite Mega Man.

Hah. I played this game for only like 3 minutes because of this. C. Viper was the first I chose, and I closed out when I got here. Going to try playing again tomorrow, but man. If that's indicative of the level design in this game, fuck it.

Have to commend them for getting the jump physics pretty spot on though. A fan team did what the MM Universe team couldn't.
