Yeah, I shaved it off yesterday.

Originally, I had a full beard. Then I ran in the Tough Mudder and shaved it down to friendly-chops. My family hated the chops and told me that I wouldn't be allowed in the family Christmas photos "with that God-awful thing." So, the day of the photos, I shaved down to the stache and showed up proudly for the photos. My mother was never more pissed off in her life.

But I looked like a pedophile, so it had to go. Now I'm waiting patiently on my beard to come back.

I've never personally met anyone with blue skin. But it is a problem in the furthest (rural) parts of eastern Kentucky and West Virginia. The town of Harlan is usually mentioned quite a bit when it comes to the subject. I think with the advances of modern technology, this has probably slowed down quite a bit as it's not so easy to hide "sister-wives" anymore.

To be honest, I'm not really sure as to why the pigment in these incest-ridden families turns blue, as so many members of the older royal families in England were products of incest (England-bore, don't hate me if I'm wrong or only partially correct. In fact, please correct me if need be) and they didn't have that problem.
