I'm not a heavy FPS player like I used to be, but Logitech always made the best mouse in the sub 50 dollar range, IMO. The M510 or the M705. Simple and sturdy.

They might be a bit too light for your liking, so try before you buy.

1- Deathadder Black Edition or the new 2013 one (2013 edition is better in terms of comfortability but a cloud driver for a mouse is lol). Deathadder mouse are probably the best for folks who prefer the legendary Microsoft IME 3.0.

2- Roccat Kone XTD if you prefer big/adjustable weight mouse or Roccat Kone Pure if you are like me who prefers lighter/faster mouse. These are pricey though since both are new and don't get the older versions of these because they all had wheel scroll issues.

3- Mionix Naos. Probably the most comfortable mouse made. I'd get the optical version since it is cheaper plus I bet it won't matter to you if it's laser or not anyway.

I can vouch for the Logitech G500. It's stood up to 600+ hours of Diablo 3, other gameplay, and general use like a fucking champ.

I didn't read the $50 thingy so lol.

In that range, I'd get Deathadder or Mionix Naos. Both are awesome and in your range.

I can't comment on anything Logitech because I tried like...every mouse but Logitech lol.

Of course. Trying them out is the best course of action.

Don't be like me who is now stuck with a bag full of PC shit.

Currently, I am pretty content with Roccat Kone Pure but I wanna try dat Deathadder 2013.

I'm on the Son of MX518, the G400 and it's great if you want something slightly cheaper than a G500

Got the Logitech G500 and it is very nice. Lots of customization options, good feel, and it's got these little weights you can add to make it heavier if you want. Scroll wheel is good, too, with an option to switch between a smooth scroll and a clicky scroll.

logitech g9x or g400 are both solid

g9x has higher dpi, a few more buttons and the software is better

g400 is basically a laser version of the mx518 which iirc was optical

I do, and I will buy it. As a Bluetooth device it already had a crazy ass battery life, so I cant imagine it being even better.

The G500 looks just fine, except for the speckled-paint look. If you want to criticize the aesthetics of a gaming mouse, go find the official Razor thread.

whoever buys this deserves to be shot with a style bullet, in the head, so the effects are carried out immediately.

only a man child or someone who is 11 years old, would find that mouse aesthetically appealing.

I am frankly appalled and I hope they never get laid (don't worry they won't) so they never reproduce so we can have less people in the world who find this suitable for purchase.

I also got a Rosewill mechanical keyboard to go along with my new mouse. Maaaaaaan, those mechanical keys are so smooth, like sticking my fingers in a tub of warm margarine.

So it's good for typing at length?

I haven't typed out anything really long on it yet, but what little typing I have done with it has been a massive improvement over the cheap, generic keyboard I had before. It just feels...right, you know?

I have a Filco, and I can confirm that a mechanical keyboard is awesome. They even have different switches for different typing styles!
