Fedoras work for Jon Hamm because he has the chiseled facial aesthetics to pull it off.  Some double chinned pink faced schlub wearing one (ie, 95%+ of fedora owners) looks stupid.

And yes, most women past college age have something long term, married, etc.  Most people do.  I guess if you want to be single still, you can skew younger (college girls) or older (divorcees).  That or pull a GAF and go without.  Just understand you're in a dwindling minority and if you're cool with that, that's fine.  Just understand that it isn't going to be the college days.

Actually most of the girls I knew / had crushes on in college-ish age who were single then are still single now (at 30-ish). maybe I tend to be attracted to people who are equally bad at this stuff.

Yeah I'm gonna try and find a local bar or club which will allow me to play some disco/deep house type stuff, maybe once or twice a month or something. Not sure how that will fly on the island, would probably have better luck if I just played Swedish House Mafia and Guetta tracks.

Been having kind of a slow year, apart from a glimmer of hope with NY Comic Con. That, combined with tons of my friends getting engaged this past year has made me a bit more... desperate. Which I know is a terrible state of mind to be in. I need to meet some new, younger, single people to go out with s'more.

Stand around inside Pink Gorilla on the Ave for 15 minutes, I'm sure you'll spot at least one. They're not "rampant," but they exist and it's the part of the city where you're most likely to see one in their natural habitat.
