How come your name is Bebpo and not Bepbo?

Do you pronounce it Bebbo or do you have to go all out and overenunciate it like BEBBB PO?

Bepbo is really fun to pronounce. I do it all the time in my private moments. But Bebpo isn't at all pleasing to my mouth orifice.

I'm gonna guess Bebpo got his name from someone misspelling "bebop." Maybe from Cowboy Bebop?

In short, it's this

Long form is seeing a spread on Cowboy Bebop in Newtype back in 1998 or so and thinking it was called Cowboy Bebpo and that was a cool name for a show, so I took the Bebpo and ran with it.

But I have enjoyed various versions of it over time.
