Shadow's didn't play like crap. It was a pretty well made arcadey RE4. I wish the game was way longer, because of how well it played and since every game of it's type this gen thinks it needs a cover system. I guess you could say pacing and variety were it faults, but not the actual gameplay. I mean when you compare it to RE6, at least Shadow's understood how to not make moving your character around feel convoluted and bad.
Lolipop Chainsaw, well I just thought it was a pretty basic hack and slash game. Nothing really fancy, but well i guess like most of it's game it's personality that made it tolerable.
Either way, I don't think their games have actually played like crap since NMH2.
