"Audio Error:  object reference not set to an instance of an object"

So, I installed Windows media center extender to my MCE2005 so I could watch porn through my 360 (not really*), and I keep getting the above error message whenever I try to access "My Music."

The Indian dude from HP support sounded like he had a mouthful of thumbs, so I couldn't understand half of whatever the fuck he was trying to say.  He also did some sort of remote access to my computer, and from watching the cursor move around it was painfully obvious he had no idea what he was doing.  I mean, this goddamned idiot was clicking around on shit that had no relation whatsoever to music.  I could've closed my eyes, randomly clicked around the screen, and I would have achieved the same results as this Brainiac.  He did seem very interested in the dvd I had in my disc drive, though.  His final solution - reformat my computer.  That I bought five days ago.  Thanks for wasting my motherfucking time, Habib.

Anyway, does anyone know what "Audio Error:  object reference not set to an instance of an object" means, and how I can fix it?  I just want to listen to some show tunes through my 360 (not really*).

Thanks in advance.

*yes, really
