As of right now, it looks like just one victim, but there isn't much info out.

Three people – one suspected shooter and two perhaps unintended targets – were wounded in a shooting that appears to have been between two people at the Lone Star College campus in Houston, school spokesman Jed Young said.

Looks like they might have the person, possibly.

We had a gunman come on campus at my university back in the day. Guy had apparently dated a faculty member in the past and was angry about her ending things. He ended up killing a music professor (the first staff member he encountered) before shooting himself outside my dorm. Always terrible when this happens.

For the last couple weeks it's been an obsession of mine to type in 'accidental shooting' in Google news. Every single day there are 1-3 new ones. Usually a kid is dead.

Aren't people allowed to carry concealed guns on Texas campuses?

No. There were bills that made it to the floor of the state legislature but nothing that's been passed. It happens during every single legislative session I think.

More details have come out on the family shooting in New Mexico, and it's pretty sick/sad.

Quote
The 15-year-old said that at just after midnight on Saturday he walked into his parent's bedroom where his mother and younger brother were sleeping and took a .22 caliber rifle from his parent's closet.

He then shot his mother Sara in the head, and when his 9-year-old brother Zephania awoke and said that he did not believe that she was dead, the police report states that Nehemiah 'picked up his mother's head to show his brother her bloody face.'

When Zephania began to cry, Nehemiah shot him dead too before proceeding into the room where his 5-year-old sister Jael and 2-year-old sister Angelina were sleeping.
'Nehemiah stated he lost his sense of conscience and went to the bedroom his two younger sisters share. Nehemiah stated when he entered he noticed that his sisters were crying and he shot both of them in the head,' the police report says.

After allegedly killing his siblings and his mother, he then went back to his parent's closet and grabbed the AR-15 military-style assault rifle that they kept there and then went to wait fro his dad in the downstairs bathroom.
When his father arrived at around 5am on Saturday, he waited until his dad had walked past the bathroom so that he was able to shoot him multiple times with the assault rifle.

The timeline of events from that point on appears a little less defined as he admitted to texting a picture of his dead mother to his girlfriend.

Also planned to shoot up a Wal-Mart with the AR-15 and die in a gunfight with police, but he called a friend first and his friend told him to think about what he was doing, and in the end he went to his dad's church and was arrested before he decided to do anything else.

Nah, that's just bad decision making in a home with a troubled teen.

If only everyone on campus had a gun so that everyone could have just shot everyone when these two went at it.
