I remembered that I meant to buy this about a month, but couldn't because my current PC wasn't recognized by Microsoft as a "trusted PC." Well, that's still the case. And I can't, no matter what I try, figure out a way add my current PC [which is the only one that still exists] as a "trusted PC." So, I basically can't ever buy anything from MS ever again. $:-\$

I'm gonna have to buy this. I bought Bioshock 2 but never got around to beating it, I think I got preoccupied with another game. Not a huge loss, but I definitely wanna try this.

no and no- I never played Bioshock 2 proper. I was told to play this and then put Bioshock 2 away

I put about 2 hours into Bioshock 2 and just wasn't impressed with it. So, anything better than that will be worth my time.

Well it uses the same mechanics, but iirc Minervas den is more challenging and the story is great- and the length and pacing is perfect imo.

Never played Minerva's Den. I used gamefly on Bioshock 2 so the dlc wasn't around yet when I beat it.

I think the appeal of the original Bioshock is almost completely in the narrative. Actually playing the game isn't that fun outside of the story stuff and the immersion which is strong.

Bioshock 2 was a better playing game but the story was weaker and the immersion was less unique the second time around.

My favorite part of Bioshock 2 which I found poignant.

I'm really enjoying Minerva's Den so far. Can't really point to anything specific, really, but I just like it so far a lot more than I liked the main part of Bioshock 2.
