No spoilers for Ni no Kuni. I'm pretty sure Doug was jamming the skip cutscene button like a fiend (assuming one exists in the game).

Sorry to miss a 'cast, but you guys more than filled 'er up.  Next episode I'll be talking some Path of Exile and Fire Emblem... finally got my copy today, only 3 days late!  DAT NINTENDO DIFFERENCE.

ni no kuni doesn't have any particular twists or surprises of note. it's a game that relies on its visuals and music to immerse you, not the trajectory of its plot

Regarding Tiny Tina, I disliked the character but I thought she was more of an obnoxious "precocious" child in the vein of Juno, who I detested.

My kid loves the same find miis game in Nintendoland. Its funny how the most addictive mini-game in there is the one they spent the least effort on
