Killing innocent civilians and officers will lead to a better, more tolerant, less corrupt LAPD.

You can almost swell the waft of patchouli in the air.

yeah, sounded like Capt. Janks.

It was Ronnie.

No way does Dorner make it out of that cabin alive.

No he's fucked. The FAA just put flight restrictions around the area to get the news copters away. One apparently got too close to the SWAT helicopter and the cops got pissed. They said they have snipers set around the cabin with armored vehicles coming in.

The two people he held hostage are probably going to get the $1 million reward.

More like the families of the 2 hostages

Why? They're alive. They got out.

Doesn't sound like Ronnie, but he was talking about Ronnie.

And didn't hear the hostages had gotten out.  Absolutely sure he didn't get more?

If there's no hostages, surprised they haven't leveled the cabin yet.

It must kill them that their hero is going to go out like this.

Honestly, I have to say that I'm a little surprised.  With his actions over the first few days being so calculated, I assumed that he would stay on the move and not hole himself up like that.  I assume that maybe the two women spotted him and he had to take them hostage.

There were two, they got out of the cabin when he ran out shooting at the cops. As he ran into the forest shooting they got out and the cops got them out of danger. He then went back into the cabin. They say they were held for days.

If they did burn him alive, I couldn't say that I would be too surprised.  I know that sounds harsh, but this guy has killed (what is it?) two officers and vowed to kill more.  Could you blame them for wanting him to "pay" a bit for what he's done?

They just accidentally set it then?  Is accidental fire common work place occurrence in cop work?

dorner set the fire as a distraction so that he could escape on horseback.  for context remember that what we consider real life is now only a simulacra of modern storytelling and only fractured vicissitudes of reality remain.

CBS isn't making any such claims, and they have a guy on site, who doesn't seem to be indicating that any police have gone in yet.
