Mainly because of Xenoblade and that X trailer getting me all pumped up, but I figured while I'm there, I might as well pick up some only Wii crap that missed out on. Basically picked up everything that looked good that was under ~$10. I ended up with:

- Shiren the Wanderer
- Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon

(Some of the games I just bought for the lulz, you can use your imagination to figure out which.)

Besides 1st part stuff, are there any other games I should try to get before they get hard to find?

Side note - I bought the first game eons ago off D2D, before it became Gamefly. Contacted EA help about adding it to Origin so I could have all the games in one place, and after showing some credentials the dude added it no problem (even though they were in no way obligated to do that). Origin ain't so bad.

-More 2nd Super Robot Wars OGs:  about 1/3rd through now and it's finally starting and is good.  Game is the FFXIII of SRWs unfortunately.  "20 hours until it gets good!" is not just a meme here.
-More Assassin's Creed III:  I'm clearing all the optional content in the game before getting back to the story where I was midway in.  There's like 30 hours of optional shit because it's 10 hours of optional shit spread out super thin.  Ehhhh.
-Giana Sisters TD:  Almost done with this.  Has frustrating parts but also a very solid platformer with moments of genius and tons of hidden areas.
-One Piece Musou:  Giving this another shot to see if I want to buy the sequel next month.  Another hour in and still not feeling it.

Little King's Story and Klonoa are two of the top Wii games

LKS is on Vita too but download only and ditches the children's storybook stylings for animu.  Klonoa is a port of the PS1 game.

Silent Hill Shattered Memories is great.  Or awful.  I enjoyed it but it's a divisive game.  Not a traditional Silent Hill game.  You walk around and solve puzzles, then you run away in stupid dumb stupid chase sequences, then you take a personality test; repeat for a couple hours.

But the setting and story make me play on, def darker then anything Bioware ever did.

I think I might have preferred the combat in 1 slightly - due to the different stances changing things up a bit (you had to find the enemies 'weakness')... 2 you just exploited the trap spell (aard was it called?). But I vastly prefer the setting and storyline in the first game...

I liked Witcher 2 more. It has better locations, characters, story, and I found the combat to be more fun. I never finished it but I did play a good chunk of Witcher 2 and did find a lot of the sidequests to be more interesting though.

I don't know, both have some good qualities and some not-so-good qualities. I'd probably still give the edge to Witcher 1, except for that part around the middle where you have to keep going back to that horrible, depressing swamp area. Really killed the game for me for the longest time, I think it took my months to finally get through that part and beat the thing.

hey now, there is a nights-sized good game in nights: journey of dreams.  it's just that it's unfortunately mixed in with twice as much absolute garbage.  i think if you liked nights a lot, journey of dreams is worth a play.

When I played the game I never felt there was enough good game time to warrant the time I wasted on the absolute shit parts. The balance is completely off.
