pros:
its hot new hardware to tinker with, always lasts a good week for me just messing with the settings etc :D
It's the fucking PSP interface with less features. :P
i THINK id like resistance, but not overly. it looks somewhat fun.
It's okay. To be honest I haven't played much of it, mainly because of Gears Of War.
ridge racer 7 is apparently ridge racer 6.5?
It IS RR6.5 Although it IS also the better game. The new tracks are great and look very nice, plus they added slipstreaming and improved the single player mode. I also prefer RR7's soundtrack over RR6's.
motorstorm has a pathetic amount of tracks?
It has like eight, yeah. But they're big and wide open, and there's different ways to get through them. The Japanese version might as well be the "beta," but even then it's a hell of a lot of fun to play. Wait and see how the U.S. version turns out.
resistance doesnt interest me THAT much, i dont think id finish it
Scratch another game off that list, then.
thats the way i see it, i have the money, but after i buy it id be pretty broke. but new hardware is so tempting to me, heck i even bought a wii!! :lol i find myself looking at ps3 prices every day now. and i know when that starts happening with me i end up cracking. but argh 900AUD for me with NO games...should i?
If there's no games you really want for it, why bother? Wait for something to come out that you really want. PS3 is incredibly weak right now. That will change later on. I use my PS3 for playing PS2 games with faster loads (some of them) and better visuals (also only some of them), plus for downloadable games like Tekken. But I pretty much just play my 360 90% of the time, with the Wii and PS3 just sitting there.
