Out now on Gamers Gate for $9. Roguelike from the Sword of the Stars developer and in the same universe. There's a demo out too if you're feeling dirtperson poor, but apparently it's pretty limited.

I've put in a bit of time on easy and it's too easy - most mobs take less than 1HP off you and there's hundreds of rounds of ammo available. Seems pretty awesome though from what I have seen. I went through a door last night that had an acid trap and it destroyed my last medkit

This game is on Steam now for those who may have been interested but don't like GamersGate.

Played a bit more on Normal, it certainly gets difficult around floor 10, and I'm still seeing new mob types & abilities. Might be worth farming easy for receipies but otherwise normal/hard is where it's at.

Did you play Dungeons of Dredmore? It's basically a sci-fi version of that
