So I work for a developer and my bossman is all like BRAH I NEED A ROCKIN LAPTOP FOR DEMOS AND REMOTE DEVELOPMENT AND SHIZ, and that made me realize that I kinda want one too. Wondering what everyone here rocks, because as of now I'm looking into:

Nvidia chipset preferably. Lots of RAM for elite Photoshoppery. Sexy display always a plus. Maybe a little actual battery life as opposed to enough to move from one power outlet to the other. Under $2k.

I have an MSi gaming laptop, they're pretty goddamn powerful and a pretty good value for what you get. Bought mine over a year ago and it can still run the new releases with full settings and has still better specs than most current systems, dropped something like $1400 or so at the time. I'd imagine their current lineup to be pretty damn good too.
