the shows very hit or miss. you basically just watch it for Boyd Krauter and Raylan. Season 2 is phenomenal though. Season 1 is above average and Season 3 is almost great. They're good TV but no weres near The Shield.

I've only seen the first two seasons, but I like it.

Then again, you can always read an Elmore Leonard novel...

The Shield's ok, but after every episode I felt dirty--in need of a shower with my washcloth* replaced by sand paper.

*I don't use a washcloth, PD.
