The free games they give you, at least in the US, aren't that great. In the two months of service I have gotten from them I have not actually downloaded a single game. I regret paying for my three months. Their discounts are what the regular prices should actually be.

I get plenty of value out of my PS+ subscription. It's a great way of trying out games you don't want to purchase.

I liked PS+ for the free Vita games. I almost bought a 1 year subscription the other day, but then I realized I'd probably only download a few games and it'd be a waste. Still better than XBL Gold at least.

Yeah if you just had a Vita it'd be pretty shitty. There just aren't enough games for them to offer something free (that isn't garbage) after they shot their load this Xmas.

So far I've gotten the following Vita games as freebies:
• Chronovolt
• Gravity Rush
• Jet Set Radio
• Knytt Underground
• Mortal Kombat
• Pinball Arcade
• Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack
• Uncharted: Golden Abyss

That's a lot better than what I was expecting. Mortal Kombat was a really nice surprise. I had written off the series a long time ago.

If it wasn't for PSN+ I wouldn't have any games for my Vita other than the Call of Dooty that came with it.

edit - oh scratch that. I guess I did buy Virtue's Last Reward around Thanksgiving out of boredom. Haven't really touched it after getting out of the first room though.

They'll trickle them out like they're doing with Vita and everything will be a risky buy until the games start coming out en masse.

How ps plus works as a ps4 accessory is probably going to determine when I get a ps4

once you resub your games will reactivate and it will even push those games to the top of your download list if you need to download them again.

Gonna be interesting to see what they tweak for PS4
