actually, i'm pretty much always working on a Ninja Gaiden playthrough of some sort!   



I can't read these Ninja Gaiden threads...I had to go to the hospital with high blood pressure after reading the current NGB thread on gaf. 

basically, Dahbomb might need to go drink a cup of bleach and so do all the people who don't know about the score system and think the game boils down to flying swallow because they never bought anything past NG1 Vanilla. 


ON TOPIC, I'm coming up with some ideas for breaking NGS1+ with the dumb enhancement items they give you.  I also feel like there are lots of glitches to be found in the Vita games, so I might go all Ulililia on it.

Scoring systems can be an effective way to measure player skill in a balanced and objective manner within the game's code.

So of course that means irrational fanboys of games without scoring systems will call scoring irrelevant because the only thing that matters is reaching the ending credits.

MGR, Bayo, NG, and DMC are all great action games/series with responsive controls, high skill caps, and plenty of challenge. They have their own strengths and weaknesses, but none of them are crappy games relative to one another. Anyone calling one of them shit is likely an angry fanboy.

I, too, tried to prop up a piece of shit game.  It was Ninja Gaiden 3 and I tried to argue on gaf that it might not be so bad.  but that only lasted a day until I admitted just how dire the situation was.
