This isn't about making money, this isn't about chasing ad dollars, this isn't about even slavishly crawling for hits, this isn't about giving fans just what they want to hear, this is about setting a standard of journalism and content and community. Re-establishing it. Speaking truth to power like Hearst did. This is about rising above and doing what the people want without being beholden to anyone. Except the fans.
