I didn't say all suburbs are the same. I said all subrubs I've been to are the same. However, Devo says that she lives in a great suburb so surely they exist. The point I ineffectively conveyed is that good suburbs seem so rare that pointing about that "hey you guys must lived in shitty suburbs" seems an odd point to make considering the shit:quality ratio of suburbs.
It really depends on the city I'm guessing. Houston is like 70% suburbs and they all suck. Every experience I've had in every suburb I've visited, no matter the city, from Dallas, to San Fran, to LA, to goddamn Orlando, Raleigh have been shit and pretty much copy pasta. Because Devo thinks her suburb is great, doesn't really change my own personal experience.
I don't like suburbs, but not all suburbs are god awful either. I'm sure they are out there, but they are so minuscule I'd rather to talk in objectives because goddamit, I'm lazy and I'd rather just pimp city/country livin' than be assed to find these so-called mythical burbs.
New York City probably the most decent suburbs I've ever seen, honestly. Long Island ain't bad.
