I'm more personally annoyed that he's hiding behind his brother and his "last wish" to do these things than him outright just saying he wants to travel and film himself doing the donations. It just seems like he can't let go of his brothers death or the fame that surrounds it despite it never being his brothers intention to be "internet famous" over it.

Who, Seth's Brother? No, he (if I remember right) was suicidally depressed when his girlfriend broke-up/cheated(? forgetting) with him. He did something bad (forgetting what, I think suffocated himself/hanged himself?) enough that led him to be braindead. In his will he basically wanted a happy-memorial-funeral because he didn't want "people to be sad" and there was some drama over the will including the girlfriend/etc. at the time. And he wanted ONE tip of $500 or so to be given (since he recieved a very generous tip when he was in that line of work himself and remembered it.) But at the same time he knew the family wasn't in the best financial means so he didn't ask for something like a $1,000 tip. Just something further than the norm, above $100 even IIRC.

Yes, the drama was that the brother had it in his will but he told family that he didn't want to be an organ donor. The hospital really wanted to use the organs and because the will stated it was okay they wanted to do it without the family objecting but they did. If I remember right, Seth's family won that battle and his organs weren't donated.

Right. The hospital was pushing hard to get the organs because of the will but the family legal battled it/combated that. I forget if they (the family) won or not since it's been a year or two since that thread but it was chronicled in Seth's original "my brother may have killed himself" thread. But I think they did because Seth was adamant about them not getting the organs because his brother told them he didn't want to be an organ donor.

But that's another one of the "foul play" vibe things, given his will may or may not have been edited so suddenly.

I've never bothered to research the cons, so perhaps I'm just ignorant on this topic, but I personally can't fathom why someone wouldn't want to be an organ donor. Mind you, I'm not religious and want to be cremated, so maybe that factors into it. But without trying to be too judgmental given my own lack of research on the various angles of the topic, people who are against organ donation always come across as ignorant pricks to me.

Yes, but that's the drama/thing: He didn't. And AFAIK Seth was saying he wanted to but couldn't at the time or whatever and the will wasn't updated with the lawyer or whatever and so the whole huge drama about it.
