The problem with your example is that you aren't covering all the possibilities. What would you call a person who was born male but has gone through sexual reassignment and barely resembles one at all? They certainly wouldn't be trans anymore, but I don't think the majority would be okay with classifying that person as strictly female. So there has to be some way of classifying that you accept the gender attached to your birth sex, and "natural" sure as hell doesn't work for obvious reasons. Cisgender is also not a new term, so you might just want to educate yourself and get over it.
