lol I remember doing this too. One lucky dude would have an older brother/uncle/etc pull something off a BBS or early innanets and it would spread like wildfire. The best ones were adventure games that had piracy measures like 'what is the third word on page 24 of the manual', which of course meant someone would just dump all the answers in a txt file

The reddit thread GAF stole the topic from had some social worker type guys saying that they'd be disqualified from government assistance if they made minimum wage and also that a lot of the time their handicaps keep them from performing anywhere near an able average minimum wage worker. Because of that the company also usualIy has to provide job coaches for them too. I didn't look it up but might that have some truth to it?

I dunno the second bit, but I know the first bit is probably true. I had to apply to SSI/SSD before and was denied because I had a bank account to my name and they worried I was "going to scam them" or something because of that. I dunno if the situation is the same with StealthFan or not but the government does have some rules and regulations of what disability handouts and attempting to work/etc. does.

It's true. In reality a company shouldn't hire disabled workers, as they're more of a hassle than a benefit. They pay them that measly sum because that is all their productivity is usually worth. They can't have people working for free though. Free labor from distinguished mentally-challenged fellows is immoral. Paying them 8 bucks a day isn't I guess.

Define disabled though.

I don't necessarily agree with Sqorgar's point but yeah: GAF has a really bad hard-on for PC and it kills dissident opinions dead. Let them have a conversation and if they fuck up by breaking a rule, then ban them don't ban them simply because they think transexuals can take a little heat or whatever Sqorgar was going on about in that thread.
