The problem with SMF is that a lot of mods are made with the default theme in mind. There is no consideration for any custom ones. So the only option I would really have is to tweak this current one.

No talk about the big fucking MMA fight at OA? One of the rich members financed the flight of a local New Yorker member to go to Texas and face Olimario in the ring yesterday. That thing has been hyped for over a month with topics and even tshirts.

The fight itself turned out to be a bit of a dud with an injured, out-of-shape opponent. The giant Olimario submitted him fairly quickly. Bad camera work didn't help either.

But that could have been just as warm-up for the main event: they're trying hard to get Evilore and Olimario to fight since they're from the same state. Few believe Evilore will ever agree, but the GAF boss has a big inflated ego so who knows...

I remember when I was but a pup of 4 or 5 and rented a VHS from the video store. It had anamorphic cats and was intense and dark and awesome. Not even three years after I'd ask my brother what it was, and he would tell me it was something Thundercats related. Desperate to relive my memory I sought out these thunderous cats only to come upon a harsh realization. "This is gay. Why did I even like this?" I uttered, and then went back to watching MTV to see sluts gyrate before my parents demanded I watch Vh1 instead.

80's? Cartoons are bad, yeah. I think 90's cartoons however was the birth of something special. They were making cartoons not only to sell toys, but to tell stories, and to speak to kids, and hell, even adults. I don't think they'd have taken off nearly as well without the success of The Simpsons. Shows like Duckman, Dr Katz, Rugrats, Doug, Batman TAS, Tiny Toons, Freakazaoid, Ren and Stimpy, Rocko, Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls, Daria...I think they're better than ever.

The 90's were an animation renaissance, from all shores. Especially after the 70's, which was a terrible decade for the field. I think 80's ANIME fares much better compared to American cartoons, that's for sure.

80's were excellent for the animated FILM, though, and that's the biiiiiiig caveat. But once you're talking about television? It's a wasteland.

It's supposed to be 94º here in London tomorrow. A key difference is we don't have air conditioning and our houses are built to retain as much heat as possible. I've lived in Melbourne where on the hottest days it would get to 110º but it was bearable because at least you had air conditioning. Here there's no escape.
