It's supposed to be 94º here in London tomorrow. A key difference is we don't have air conditioning and our houses are built to retain as much heat as possible. I've lived in Melbourne where on the hottest days it would get to 110º but it was bearable because at least you had air conditioning. Here there's no escape.

go get yourself a kiddie pool and splash about in the shade. that's what a smart person would do.

I'm usually cold as fuck so when it gets hot, unless it's just bullshit humid, I'm not that hot. Anything above 85 is hot. Doubly so if you're in a flat area with no breeze or a hot second story (or above) bedroom with shit ass ventilation.

I honestly can't tell if you're being serious here. Mind you, I didn't know of WYL in the very beginning, but I knew of it before Coatanza created Cyniculture. In its hay day, it was certainly far more actieve than it is today, but a GAF killer? And I promise you that I'm not wearing my GAF mod hat that has me believing that no forum could ever topple the almighty GAF. I just don't remember WYL as ever being that big of a deal.

WYL basically had the biggest weak point of GAF (extremely excessive moderation) and none of its strengths (being a big, active, diverse board).  Still, it's not the worst GAF spin-off I've seen.  That honour would go to Jiggy's board, whose name I've forgotten.

Honestly, I feel the GAF-spinoff niche is perfectly well-served between here and OA.

IronKnuckle (some ultraconservative douchebag who got booted from GAF and OA) also created a GAF spinoff forum about eight years ago.  It was on an EZBoard or some type of freeware forum.  I rank it with Cyniculture in terms of spinoffs that had virtually no traffic and was forgotten as soon as it was created.

Then there was bork's spinoff board.  I forget the name of that one.

after the two parter intro, i was all in. then i noticed that the better episodes were the filler, with the rest of the episodes being tygra bitching, and lion-o being a fucking dumbass. then the end of the first season happened.... bullshit. the second season was the same damn shit, with the season finale being somehow even more distinguished mentally-challenged. its amazing that people would ever ask for another season of that shit.

that was played straight with the latter though as he dreamt up that scenario for the former due to expectations.

still the "betrayal" knocked him the fuck out and he turned to his usual man child persona as a result 



And now i'm convinced Novid is a joke character

he didnt really dream that shit up. tygra kissing her wouldnt have such a dramatic effect if they didnt put the effort in that she was trying to be into him. the reasoning behind it was nonsensical, and if true, would make me want to summon jaga just to kill his old ass again.

and yeah, novid is definitely a joke character. if not, hes sadder than he should be.

I thought he was looking into what she did way too much but given that Tygra also seemed convinced he lost the fight (which catapulted the entire thing anyways  ) I will pull back a bit.

The reason for choosing tygra was pretty fucking dumb mainly since (IIRC) it seemingly came out of nowhere (she joined them for a while and didn't show much of a hint of that, hell she was mostly busy fucking with lion-ho's dumbass)
