It's a coping strategy. I think the whining about cheaters and raging at team mates in online games falls into the same category. You remain in the situation because you don't hate it enough to leave, but you can't stay without venting either. Where that isn't possible face to face we get passive aggressive whining.

Oh yeah. I thought most of the posters were (surprisingly? disappointingly?) actually OK, a couple of distinguished mentally-challenged fellows but less than I was expecting when I started the thing. Funnily enough some of them touched on the whole intersectionality debate there, albeit somewhat inadvertently.

Still don't get the "insulting another poster" part of that ban though.

Also MASH is good. It can go pretty quickly from corny jokes to melodrama but I like it.

The movie was kind of dark and weird but worth watching just for that reason. The show is very lighthearted and pointless which puts in the same league I Love Lucy for being fun and meaningless background noise while drunk.

Dunno but he sure has some droopy ass lower eye lids that show in pics of his face, they look like they would fill up with all the shit and dust floating in the air and it makes my eyes itch just thinking about it. You know, I never really gave it much thought before, but GAF has some seriously fucked up Mods. I mean, absolutely bizarre; downright socially awkward and unstable individuals administrating their board.

For example, EviLore is essentially a socially repressed egomaniac. One who seeks constant validation in an otherwise vapid life through traveling and monetary measures. All to combat his own (by admission) ongoing depression and manic episodes.

Mutes is a socially awkward virgin who I imagine is one bad decision away from being a sex offender.
