Cortana has always had the form of an unclothed female, it's just that with Halo 4 this became realistic enough to suddenly appear that she was 'naked'.

Cortana makes herself look like a young naked version of Halsey because its the only way she can get back at Halsey.

Was it the SP or MP? The last Halo I played was ODST and I really liked that. Good single player with the best Halo MP imo (since it was just 3, heh). Then my Xbox died on me and I gave up on the series.

I don't think it's fair for Ellis to be discredited as a hypocritical hack, but Cortana is problematic to his cause. While he probably isn't responsible at all for Cortana's design, it is a target that is much closer to home that he is conveniently ignoring. I don't think this makes him a hypocritical jerk, but I do think it makes him a less than ideal candidate to make this critique.
