It's very good output if you own Nintendo handhelds. I don't and don't want to. I like consoles and they've been shit on there, thats a fact.
3D Dot Game Heroes?
Catherine?
Trauma Team?
Trauma Center: New Blood?
Demon's Souls when SCEA passed on it thinking it was "too niche" (but they kick themselves in the ass daily on that)?
Yes, Atlus publishes a ton of crap on consoles (Game of Thrones, that one title that was on Steam as well third person shooter-forgetting the name, Droplitz which isn't bad but not really worth Atlus' time), just like handhelds. But to say they don't publish good stuff on consoles is a bit moronic, Rah. No offense.
I thought it was understood we were talking about developed.
I bought and played Catherine. It was a neat puzzle game with some Persona social links nicely merged into it. But I hate puzzle games. I played through it once, thought it was cool, and that was it. I bought it mostly for the art. I also thought it was basically a "we're getting use to next gen so Persona 5 can come out". Well where is Persona 5? Where is any other console game from them?
The Trauma Center games are cool, but not enough for me to keep them. I traded them in after playing them.
Don't like the Souls games. Isn't 3D Dot Hero's a Zelda homage? Well I don't like Zelda so.....
The only Atlus(published or whatever) console games I own are Catherine, KoF13, Persona 4 Arena and for some reason Operation Darkness. I would have hoped for more, especially ones made by them. Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2 were some of my favorite games on the PS2.
You do realize that these two statements are contradictions.
Line one supposes that you don't like handheld games. And people with different preferences should game on whatever platforms they choose.
Line two says you have a Playstation handheld. Either way, if you're an Atlus fan like you say are, and don't like handhelds, or don't like NINTENDO handhelds (for whatever reason that may be) you come out as illogical. How is this hard to understand?
There's really no contradiction at all. I'm not sure how saying I have a PSP and am not 100% against handhelds means I'm contradicting saying you should be able to play where you want. Where's the contradiction?
I never said I was an Atlus fan, you're the one talking about Real fans and whatnot. I casually play Persona, SMT, and maybe some other things they have. I don't buy every single Atlus game and it's really the spin-offs(persona and DDS) that I liked. I'm unsure if I'd buy a system solely for them, I kind of doubt I would.
I'm not sure what's illogical. I don't like Nintendo games and have usually found their systems to be a waste of money. The 3DS's library doesn't interests me behind 2 or 3 titles. I've never understood what made the 3DS/DS this rpg powerhouse. A quick look of say rpgfan.com's 3DS review section isn't that great. Neither do I have to live off solely Japanese games. Lastly, handhelds don't fit how I like to play games. So why would I buy a 3DS.
