There was that deal with the NBA gaffer who was hitting on some chick they all met at a bar. That sequence was weird.

But there's always been these "sit-downs" with the sports community because they function on their own without his interference. Generally, there's one or two mods who watch the forum, but about all those mods are gone or demodded now. Blackace, Hito, and one other NY mod.

It seems GAF, being mostly geeks, never got the whole ribbing concept popular in locker room culture, which is common in Sports GAF. 

The problem with NBA-GAF is that most of those guys don't know how to rib with love, like NFL GAF which is more fun filled ribbing, so they come off as abrasive, which in an online community is more important, since written language lacks nuance and tone at the message board level.
