I think the key is if that board can establish a new identity that is distinguishable from modern NeoGAF.  OA, for better or worse, has its own identity.  We have our own identity and style of posting/moderating/etc.  WYL was basically just another GAF.  If this new board is a carbon copy of GAF, it will fail because they will inevitably run back to the original.
