That's why I brought up the practical argument. Who cares what is "practical"? Just learn what is appealing to you. Rolling on the ground isn't appealing to me. I prefer strikes and flow. So I'd never have an interest in BJJ, for instance despite it being billed "practical". And that's a big problem I have with a lot of martial arts students, it seems a lot of them have dreams of popping someone rather than just using them as a means of physical/mental/spiritual fitness.
