This thread, in it's entirety, represents everything I hate about neogaf.

I joined a girls gaming clan for a while. It was nice generally not hearing insults, variations of "you got raped" etc. The biggest problem though was there were rules and set amount of time one had to play and that stuff was actually charted. I was like "I'm in college, I don't need set playdates." Shit makes me miss the clan system from h2 xblive days though. Having a bunch of people on hand that mostly stick to one game you can play with was convenient.

Yeah thats the thing I dont miss most about clans, I hated the playdate mentality. The only 'clan' I am still part of stretches over a lot of games, there is just like 10 of us in a skype group convo and we play whenever people are upto it, none of this 'raid at 8pm OR YOU'RE OUT' bullshit, that was ridiculous


EDIT : thinking about it, our group has more females than males. never really been an issue.
