I might pick up a copy for the single player campaign. The learning curve for the multiplayer is too steep for me to bother with it.

No LAN but I gotta say they have added a lot of features we have been asking for since SC2's release. Clan support, option to view replays with friends, Unranked custom games, and most importantly the ability to recover games after disconnects/computer problems. While I'm still peeved I have to pay an extra $40 for some features that were in SC1 before Brood War, at least they've been added finally

Hopefully this breaths some life into the SC2 community but I doubt it'll be long term. People have really moved on to dota games, and an expensive expansion won't help attract new people. Esports wise a lot of teams have disbanded, sponsors aren't as supportive as they once were, etc.

I dunno if I'll get it on launch day but I'm definitely buying it this month.

Dota is pretty crap though compared to sc imho.

Plus sc is worth it for the sp alone.
