yeah no.  it's not exactly a Compile Heart game, it's just kind of obnoxious.   but there's a great game underneath it.   

If X and X-2 were being reviewed only on gameplay merits, X-2 would blow it out of the water.

I consider X-2 to be the better game. The Dress sphere system is so good. And the speedy battles are absolutely perfect. Totally the apex of the ATB system.

I still haven't bought XIII-2. You guys are a part of the problem. SE is so ridiculous now. Why is X-3 even necessary? How in the world is there a market for a X-3 NOT on handhelds? That game would sell maybe 1 million copies. I have no problem with milking because SE would die if they didn't but at least he creative with it.

Why not an FFX prequel with Auron, Braska, and Jecht? Or fuck, make a full fledged Blitzball game. Make a Triple Triad mobile game or something. You could churn that out cheap and include some cards and features as IAP ala Puzzle and Dragon. Shit, make an FFVIII prequel starring Laguna, Kiros, and Ward. You could make an FFIX prequel telling the story of the fall of the summoners or fuck, the birth of Zidane. You could make an FFVI prequel of the Esper World. You could make an FFVI sequel of the party trying to rebuild the planet after Kefka wrecked it. FFVII, VIII, IX, and X have a shit load of mini games. Many are bad, but many are good. You could make a Clubhouse Games esque FF title with online support that has a multtude of those mini games fully developed onto real, actual games with depth that you play with friends.

Why is this company so creatively bankrupt? I came up with most of these ideas off the top of my damn head.

I got FFX HD JP to practice Japanese and also support so we can get FFXII HD. At this point, my time would better served just getting FFXII international for ps2.

The full bonus audio story (japanese) already uploaded, hints (?) @ FFX-3:

- Most of this bonus audio are told by 2 characters: Chuami and Kurugum. They are sent to Besaid Island by Baralai to search for Yuna.

 - Tidus isn't together with Yuna anymore, but of course, the real reason isn't explained. At the beggining of the drama, when Chuami, one of the protagonists asks Yuna about Tidus being her boyfriend, she still confirms, but at another point (although I'm sure it's a lie) when the 2 protagonists are spying a convo between them, she is jealous about some Tidus' friend (Marufi - a friend according to him). Then, she tells him she doesn't care anymore and apparently got another person she likes. Weird enough, he just ask: Who?, which she replies "Someone you don't know."

 - Later though, Tidus asks Lulu if she know about who could be Yuna's new love. Lulu gets pretty disappointed and says she thought Tidus would know Yuna a little bit more. She then tells Tidus to figure it himself.

 - The weird part about this is when Kurugum, the other protagonists, tells Chuami that he likes Yuna and they should separate from each other. (Like they are trying to induce people to believe he is Yuna's new love, but I doubt it could be, as he has a voice of a 14 years old kid).

 - Tidus is still a Blitzball star, but when Chuami handshake him, she notices he's pretty injured and with no energy at all, although he is trying to hide it. Later, when she meets him again, hiding from someone in Bevelle, she also notices he's injured. This may be related to why he and Yuna aren't together anymore.

 - Apparently, Yuna woke up from her "bad dream" (aka her FFX-2 version) and is talking like her FFX self again. Rikku and Paine aren't mentioned in this bonus audio.

 - Sin is back, although it's not explained why and how it's back. It's told, however, that it was activated by something (note that they use the word Summoned anymore).

 - One of the protagonists (Chuami) of this bonus audio drama claims to be Auron's daughter, although this is confronted by Lulu when she mentions about it. Lulu even saus she doesn't look like Auron like Yuna looked like Braska and Tidus looked like Jecht.

 - When she asks Lulu if her mother is a liar, she tells her that she wouldn't go so far, but if Auron was really her father, he would definitively make sure she would know, because that's how Auron was.

 - In the end of the bonus audio, Yuna's famous words from FFX about defeating Sin are back, with the crowd cheering. You know what that means, right?

honestly i love FFX,i really liked the idea for the plot,the boss are all unique and have their gimmick,the character are nice so it's so annoying to see square-enix digging the FFX grave once again so their macabre puppet can dance all night

FFX-2 International is the real keeper. Fuck FFX rock paper scissors battle system. The real reason to replay FFX ever are story, plot, characters, world, and presentation. Everything in the game play area is horrifically mediocre aside from Blitzball and boss fights.

I hate Tidus' Japanese voice.

However, it was a good idea to import this. I already know most of the English dialogue because I've played FFX so many times so I understand the context even if I don't understand all the words. Being voiced really helps. I can pause and dial a word into a dictionary.

Don't have the game yet, but watching a walkthrough here to guage if I was way over my head.
