There was some question about the offline play of the game, something that’s impossible in the PC version of Diablo 3. It was confirmed to me that the game will be playable offline on the PlayStation 3.

The coolest looking game I've seen is a game called Legion of Dungeon.

I also spent a stupid amount if money on something really dumb...

Diablo 3 for consoles more different than I expected.  Not interested personally, but it almost looks like a different experience than the PC version ( :derp), compared to the Torchlight transition to XBLA.

also, Blizzard said it's not a Sony exclusive.  I wonder if it has to do with the current Xbox Live and not meshing with Battle.net.  It could come out to the next Xbox around when it comes out for the PS4.  Or Wii U...

It will come to Xbox. Blizz has never said exclusivity, even at the PS4 conference. I'm sure they're hammering out something on the inside.

An offline version of Diablo 3? Tempting considering I skipped the PC version. Not that they couldn't release an offline PC Diablo 3 if they wanted to.

The  Giantbomb panel was fantastic.

Saw the Saints Row 4 presentation killed me. The game has a DUBSTEP gun.

Assassin's Creed 4 presentation was pretty good. It told me all the stuff that I found interesting about 3... if I had played it.

Saw two Indie games that were pretty interesting. Shovel Knight looks really impressive. Its a 8bit style action platformer with a knight that uses a shovel as a weapon. Its on Kickstarter http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/yachtclubgames/shovel-knight

The other is Tower of Guns which is a rougue-like FPS with randomly generated levels. The guy described it like The Binding of Isaac meets Quake. Its early but has a lot of potential. Here's the website http://www.towerofguns.com/

Got a bunch of swag, played a bunch of games, bought a bunch of dumb shit.

PAX was pretty good.

Is Assassins' Creed IV that black flag pirate thing, or is it something else entirely?

Whoa, Shovel Knight looks great. Much better than most indie retro games. I might back this.
