I'm not saying they would. I'm not talking about believers or disbelievers. I'm talking about people spiritually and theologically confused and are hovering around the line. Discussion that would be helpful to them is brushed under for being as patronizing as possible. I know for me, when I was spiritually confused, I was as agnostic as all possible, but whereas the theists were caring and understanding, the atheists were patronizing as hell to the point where I labeled atheist as bad, even though I already was one and refused to admit it.

I think my point is that if there is such a thing as a "Team Atheist/Agnostic," then I don't want anyone who ISN'T a bit of an asshole on my team.  I value critical thinking skills and honesty above all else.  Believing in fairy tales and trying to let people down gently are not part of my agenda.

amnesiac is AAA homework music. So many times I woke up at 6 am, after partying or playing games all night and playing Amnesiac, doing my homework two hours before class, and getting an A. Fucking awesome album.

HTTT is a great album. I've never been big on Amnesiac; it has some great songs obviously, but also many I could do without.

But the dialogue takes it to a whole new level.  Like.  "ahh dont say i am cute.  Am I cute?  You are making me blush."  And they dont do this thing once, they do it over and over again.  It isnt "cute".

as i get older and people are dying off, i'm having to tiptoe around this crap a lot more often than before, and it honestly just feels like it's too much at times.  or like bad shit goes down and people are like "well it's in the lord's hands" instead of doing anything to address the problem and i just feel like screaming.

As my mother's getting older she's getting more into this side of things as well. "God will pay them back, just you wait". But she also believes in black magic and curses (some of which are supposedly being put on me) and such, so... Screaming is about the only thing you can do, really.
