The Justice Lords story was pretty good. My favorite of Justice League / Unlimited will always be the one where they end up in the alternate reality with the Justice Society ripoff characters.

One of my friends bought the game. Watched him do some of the mission stuff. He played as a cat one of the times I peeked over. I peeked because he was hammering on a button that let him meow. It was pretty annoying, but apparently necessary for an achievement. Good fun was had by all.

Also tried playing it a bit, but it wasn't really my thing. Seems ok to watch though.

alright figured out the wager system and i don't hate it as much, but it is pretty stupid. wager meter at the end of the match or let your opponent get a bunch of life back? That's a very poorly thought out comeback mechanic, a total hype vacuum.

MK3 was some Coke II bullshit with ninja Sub-Zero and Scorpion. Then they brought them back for UMK3 of course.

I was livid about new Sub-Zero, since he was my main in MK1 and 2. I refused to play as that fucking weird ass wrestler 90s dude. by the time UMK3 came out, most people didn't care around here (and this was at one of their main test sites.) Of course War Gods flopppped. and I don't think they even got MK4. I had to go to a different arcade to try it. That game is a special kind of fucked up, but imagine the beta

I guess they made up with Daniel Pesina, he was in the series retrospective from around the time MK9 came out. all that over fucking Bloodstorm too. Strata really couldn't make a fighting game for shit.

I like that Sub-Zero went from being a young Asian guy (in his ending) in MKII to an older white dude in MKIII.

Then UMK3 was NINJAS NINJAS NINJAS OF THE RAINBOW NINJAS. At least they really changed-up their appearances in MK 2011.

MK Trilogy is really the pinnacle of MK3 stupidity. UMK3 is competitively worthy, but Trilogy is just so fucked that it's a blast to play.

Those characters aren't on the disc, aside from Sub Zero.

According to the Season Pass there are FOUR DLC characters through August.

The ones on the disc are Lobo, Batgirl, Sub-Zero, and Zod.
