It's an expansion? I haven't been paying attention so I thought it was a new game. If it's cheap i'll get it

It's a "newish" game. Different island, same characters + one extra, new skill powers, new weapons, fortress defense segments added. Basically it's a bridging game until Dead Planet or whatever they call it comes out for next gen. It's $50 retail for consoles, $40 for PC. So yeah, basically an extra-extra long standalone expansion.

No, it's standalone. You can transfer your character from the original, though.
