I just found out that Tuck Pendleton aka The Business has blocked my PMs.

TBH at first I was actually hurt, and then I started questioning my own worth......what did I say to upset The Business?

In many ways he's the lesbian knight in Game of Thrones, escorting me across a bridge. In reality I actually jump off the bridge and swim to safety, rather than having a unrealistic sword fight.

I've finished lurking. How do those who put people on ignore in forums deal with things they don't like IRL? I'm really interested to see if there's a specific type of person who's more likely to deal badly with stuff they can't avoid, and find that ignoring words restores a little power to their self worth.
Also do you really get that affected by literally stuff you read on the Internet?
Maybe in fact the web acts as an enabler for those who do feel powerless in their day to day lives?
Just kicking these thoughts around like a small dog, probably one that barks incessantly.

Stupidity and/or moral outrage are the two things that bug the living shit out of me, online they seem to be the usual fuel that feeds the fires of idiocy. That and harbouring odd resentments over meaningless slights.
And almost every thread on every forum devolves into petty bickering sooner or later, which is I don't know what it is, but it's definitely something about the human psyche. Maybe dominance or suchlike. Back in caveman times, dominance basically meant more women to bang, that's been transferred into a weird abstraction online.

I've been bullied twice in my life. First time I was in second grade; two assholes kept pushing me in the yard, and I got into a fight (I lost but didn't get beat up, so IMO I held my own). My mom pulled me out of private school shortly after and homeschooled me.

Second time occurred over many summers at bible camp. My "cousin" (he's actually an adopted bastard) would fuck with me all the time. One day during lunch he told me to walk up to some girl and tell her he liked her. I agreed but as I got towards the table she was at he pushed me right onto it, splattering food everywhere. He then helped me up on some "oh I didn't see you there I'm sorry man" shit, trying to impress the girl. He's been to jail multiple times and now lives in Brooklyn.

Update: I've actually replied to and liked quite a few of cogs posts, I think one of them was about a rape bridge or something.

But he's still ignoring my outstretched hand of peace. Which leads me to two conclusions: he either has me on ignore, which demonstrates weakness, or is just ignoring me, which demonstrates strength. In some respects the two conclusions are rather like the preconceived notions I had about Began and The Business when I started posting on here.
