No way to tell from the listing. You just have to wait for someone else to bite the bullet and then tell everyone after the fact. Just do some googling for the stuff you're interested in and if you don't find some pissed off buyer you're probably safe.
Got away with just scratches and drakensang. Think I'm reaching the point where I have just about everything I could possibly be interested in that isn't new. God bless dirt cheap pc games.
