IF MS could get anything exclusive from EA this would be it. Since the original sold shit but it has street cred.

Also it won't be MS exclusive cause it's EA.

If kintect 2.0 can scan your body shape and modify the in-game character to better suit the player's power fantasy I will buy it even if it has combat.

Extra points if it recognizes and replicates facial/near-facial hair and attire, such as a fedora.

Never would've thought that Mirror's Edge 2 could end as a retail product. Like, I imagined the hypothetical Mirror's Edge 2 as an XBLA game focused on time trials, influenced by N+ and Trials HD.

Xbox One exclusive is fine; bayonetta 2-ish, w/e. Kinect 2.0? uh. If it is one of the exclusives, along with the other rumors (Dead Rising 3, Crackdown 3), these are rare games that interest me. good jon, microsoft.

I don't know I could see this doing pretty well if this is a real thing.

It has one good thing going for it.

Free Running/Parkour etc has exploded since it's release has come and gone. I don't think any game even not Assassins Creed which cribbed liberally from the scene, has really captured that 'real' feeling of doing it like Mirrors Edge did.

Of course, if they jettison all the silly non-marketable stuff like having a female minority lead and a non-emphasis on combat, it might sell better.

Thing is if there will be more combat then all the appeal would be gone.

Mirror Edge 2 should be a downloadable game with no combat.

I bet it'll be the same as the first. Either nonlethal punching/kicking/(new taser or w/e) or shooting. Nonlethal playthroughs are more common in 2013 than 2008. Actually mirrors edge had more violence than the ghost routes of deus ex hr, dishonored, etc. But those were marketed around murdin.

I'm not getting my hopes up, so at least that way I might at least be pleasantly surprised instead of utterly depressed when the game comes out.
