Fable Anniversary

- Coming to the X360 at some point during the holiday season; release date to be announced at E3
- The game has achievements, obviously, and "choice and consequence" will play a large part
- Improved UI, loading times and control scheme
- X360-quality visuals using UE3
- New save system; looked to Halo's checkpoint system for inspiration
- SmartGlass integration; currently used as a map and screenshot utility, but features are still being experimented with
- Single-player only but does contain leaderboards for mini-games (e.g. chicken kicking)
- May be supported with DLC

I actually like the Fable games. In fact Fable 2 was pretty damn good, albeit too short but that seems to be a problem with all of them.

Hope they include the lost chapters with this.

I think X360 mini is real but not in that sense. I believe it will be a digital only X360 redesign.

I liked Fable 1. I finished it being good and then being bad. My bad character looked like such a badass by the end of the game.

I've been pretty cool on the Fable franchise since the beginning and haven't really seen anything to change my mind too much. Will not purchase.

I never played the first Fable but have considered grabbing TLC a time or two. A version that doesn't look like shit would be up my alley if reasonably priced. Of course if it's not it will be in a few months when it goes bomba.

Three had this stunningly stupid menu room. Going to some pocket dimension, load time and everything, was somehow supposed to connect you more with the world or something.
UI is not the devil, developers. I guess all that clamoring for innovation gets to people's heads.

Seriously, you age too fast. The romance options are fucking terrible (fart on your mate to get them to bang you, even the women!), the "consequences" are terrible. Who is asking for this, seriously? Who are the people that were typing in those twitter messages? Ugh.

The only reason I played this was because of the "Project Ego" hype and mostly because there was no other RPG on the system besides Morrowind and KotOR. I didn't need Fable 2-3.

And doing it for the 360...

I mean good for people like Demi that have no interest in the next console but terrible because it's being release right before (or after!) the next-gen starts and so people aren't going to be able to play it on that system due to architecture issues.

I thought 3 was probably just a little too long but the change up in gameplay at the end was pretty interesting. Still it's great to see the best version get a nice update.
