That still seems like a possibility to me. Or maybe publishers are happy enough with paid multiplayer (aka monthly online pass) and will take a cut of PS+ profits.

Capcom was the only one that had the balls to do that this gen with Final Fight/Magic Sword (of all games) 

Tomb Raider had it but it got patched out, right? 


Maybe they'll all feel more inclined to use it this gen.

Paying for online was an inevitability for Sony and everyone knows it...sucks but its true.  I'm just happy that PS+ covers everyone on the console - unlike shit Gold. 


Even if you don't pay for Plus you still get access to apps - no bs paywall.
