Resident Evil didn't "lose" to those games. The developers of those RE games stopped making those games because of their incompetence/lack of ideas to progress the series.

State of Decay and hell even Last of Us is more Resident Evil than Resident Evil has been in awhile.

i have this weird guilt fetish for noting when steam games i think are gonna be DOA are coming out, then checking the top sellers list to see them squeeze in at number 99 on release day and feeling irrationally bad about it.

Better to stay relevant than to implode into a self parodying idiot parade tho

at least WRPGS had Witcher 2 and Skyrim.

JRPGS :holeup

Dark Souls is one of the most relevant games of our times. :beli

Everything also loses to casual gamers. Super Mario Bros and Legend of Zelda were some casual-ass games on a casual-ass console, while REAL GAMERZ were playing Ultima on their C64 in their parents basements and crying into their fedoras. :heh

(Image removed from quote.)

That shit is super overrated to me. Poor graphics, awful controls, mostly boring gameplay. It's hard and it has loot, but what else is really good about that shit. It's a good effort, but an 8/10 tops really. That's being generous.

Probably the most overrated game this gen besides Bioshock.

Demon's Souls or Dark Souls?

Just checking cuz many people often mix them up

Demon's Souls was definitely overrated, lots of tedious bs that tested patience more than any other skill
Also, it was fugly even for last gen

I've only played Dark Souls a little bit but it seems more polished than Demon's Souls

RAW lost to Smackdown
Wrestlemania lost to Smackdown
Day of Reckoning lost to Smackdown
Akklaim lost to THQ
THQ lost to banks

Wrath, I can't believe you had the testicular fortitude to state Saints Row lost to GTA IV on the bore; but I guess we're talking about games which are actually acknowledged and bought by the hoi polloi, and not gameplay darlings loved by those in the know.
