FF15 looks legit interesting. The trailer was all "meh" but then I watched the gameplay video and it looks dope as fuck

I fully expect it to be a boring ass linear turn based shitburger, tho. FF games have not made the transition to next gen very well. FF12 offered up hope for evolution in the series, but just like with BoF: DQ the stupid jrpg fans shat all over it because they don't actually like evolution, they just want to play the same dumb fucking shit over and over and over again.

They say this NOW, but their track record has been shit of late. Unless you're Borys and you've just gone ahead and sewed your lips uncritically to their anus to form a human centipede of blind Squeenix approval, I guess.

(Mainly I don't want to get excited for FF15 because if it is good it will make me think about buying a next gen console way earlier than I want to... who am I kidding, that shit is coming out in 2015)

Looking around it seems like they got rid of it when it was on the PS3 but maybe its back now on the PS4

Either way I'm interested, I've always enjoyed SE's action rpgs (threads of fate, kingdom hearts, etc)

Honestly, if FFvs13/15 is as good as FF12 I'll buy it. 13-2 fixed a few issues I had with 13, but I dunno if I want to buy a "13-3" since the cast and world just isn't interesting enough for me to probably go a third time even if they are completely changing everything in the third installment. Toriyama really needs to go.
