However, my college's firewall blocks the downloading aspects of Xbox Live, so I can't download the dashboard update, so I won't be playing for a while

I played this for the first time at an ... acquantice's house the other night.  Ive suspected for years that halo was an uninspired space soilders vs aliens fps and our play session only confirmed it.  Fucking boring.

Then we played a good game called gears of war which is awesome because it actually has its own identity.
