I thought America was overtaken by multi-national corporations that use our government as a money laundering operation?

To celebrate our national malaise, I hopped into a canoe and paddled down a river that carries the name of a once proud native American tribe that we exterminated centuries ago. It was a pretty good time.

I also remembered what I hate the most about camping. It's not the bugs, it's not the humidity, it's not the poor sleeping conditions. It's being hostage to whatever people you get slotted next to. It's kind of a grand analogy on life.

My 4th was pretty solid. My family is out of town for the week, so I hosted a pretty cool cookout. I don't really drink, but I had some shots and whatnot. Grilled some shit, played some fighting games outside, and capped the day with Safe with Jason Statham.

Of course this also including one of my friends and I getting into a dumb argument, but I guess you need some sort of conflict at these things.
