Not like most of Evo will care. Only Smashboards will be the one up in arms about the whole ordeal and they'll probably ruin their chances of returning next year like they did the first time they were at Evo.

Nintendo understands the internet, but blocking the Smash stream and their Youtube shenanigans makes me think they want to bury their head in the sand and pretend it doesn't exist.

I dunno. Have you seen how bad the Smash Community can be at times? I don't think Nintendo wants to promote a Gamecube game with that community for their new title.

I can only imagine the outcry they got, I mean this is both Nintendo fans and hardcore Smash fans (and ones who want Smash to be recognized as a legit fighter), two of the most annoying subsections of internet fandom. The complaining must have been unreal.
